Striding Towards A Digital Age

   

Haven't humans evolved from Stone Age to this  'Digital Age'?   

Haven't humans adopted transformations in lifestyle and technologies since Stone Age about 2 million years ago on this planet ?....  

From the invention of tools made for hunting to advances in food production and agriculture to Artificial Intelligence(AI) and robotics, this enormous time span from the Stone age to the 'Digital Age' was of great transformation. About 2 million years ago, evolution of humans began in the Stone Age divided in Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic periods. In that era , as the name suggests, the most advanced form of technological development were stone tools. People used them for various purposes and learnt to use them skillfully and also adapted to that way of living as practically there wasn't any alternative for them.

             STONE AGE.---DIGITAL AGE.

Then slowly after thousands of years the way of livelihood changed and turned towards metallic age with rise in use of different metals for various uses. Humans still adapted the development in their lives. Similarly, we the citizens of the nation in this modern era have to become skilled , open minded to new technologies & trends and most importantly be responsible #NETIZENS .

'The purpose of these historical instances is not to bore you but to enlighten your mind about the transfiguring world and its digitized gradient.'

A few years back the frame of mind of people was that if a person is not going to an office for his/her job then he's considered as unemployed and unskilled, but there's a 180 degree shift, in recent times every individual is compelled to 'Work From Home' due to the unforeseen COVID-19 pandemic across the world. So due this, the mindset of the masses will definitely change towards the old notion of an office job. The era has changed and the individual working from home will be considered smart and skillful. Multinational Companies(MNCs) have already started the trend and have asked thousands of employees to work from home even after the worldwide pandemic ends. Its not due to the pandemic that this concept has been adopted, it was already a practice in companies in metropolitan cities.However, thanks to the pandemic ,only for this,that this practice will be widely practiced in tier-2 and tier-3 cities too.

Next big change has taken place in the education of children.The concept of e-learning isn't new to our country in recent times but again, like the concept of work from home,it has now been spread to each and every household which they have to adopt compulsorily. The students are the youth of the nation , the future is in their hands, so they have to get accustomed to the online mode of doing activities which includes e-learning too. In the post COVID era, the virtual internet will become the new actual reality.The students have to, no doubt, be self-disciplined and adopt the practice of self study more. In this transition to e-learning, the parents need to motivate their children and help & support them if they are facing any difficulty. Some people compare offline teaching with the online mode, and feel unsatisfied with the teaching methodology, so..

' The question isn't "How is it taught?" or "How well is it taught?", rather it should be "How well do I learn this ? "  Also, most importantly -Learning is more effective when it is active rather than a passive process. As the trend of using e-commerce has become a habit now, than when it was first introduced. Every other person has been ordering some or the other thing online nowadays. Similarly, like we faced difficulty early on in using e-commerce likewise remolding our life and weaving our daily work into digital format might be complex or tedious now, but in the near future the world is metamorphosing into the DIGITAL AGE, so it is inevitable for us to learn it now. In this period, everyone has to be patient and dedicated then only he/she can clue up to the transformations. Moreover, like the stone age every individual has to become adaptable to upcoming changes in the way of living life. Also, rememeber that likes can't replace real connections and family and phones should never replace books.

IT IS NOT THE STRONGEST OF THE SPECIES THAT SURVIVES, NOR THE MOST INTELLIGENT THAT SURVIVES, IT IS THE ONE WHO IS THE MOST ADAPTABLE TO CHANGE
